About Us.
Delicia Puerto Rico is a portal to the Institute’s programs supporting farmers, ranchers, and food producers in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is a cornucopia of fresh, healthy and delicious local foods, from staples like coffee and bananas to tropical fruit preserves and subtle cheeses to ancient crops grown by Caribbean natives for a thousand years. The Institute’s programs support their production and marketing through three main projects supported by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
